To introduce myself, my birth name is Michelle Amore. I was born in New Haven, Connecticut, to an Italian family made of love and pride. I went through the normal school years graduating in 1970 and on to the University of New Haven where I studied Business Management and Accounting. Since 1987 I've been running a lucrative business with my husband and another, Perfectly Posh llc Candy Buffets & Tablescapes that I founded in 2010 and still operating in the wedding and events industry.
Because of the love I have for this industry Officiate My Wedding CT was formed. As a Justice of the Peace and Ordained Minister, I specialize in providing couples with a wedding ceremony that reflects who they are, whether its a traditional ceremony or something unique and out of the box, a single or mixed religious ceremony, non-religious, civil union, vow renewal or same-sex union. I also love to incorporate rituals such as Handfasting, Candle Lighting, Sand Ceremony and more.
I take great pride in creating a ceremony tailored to your needs and will craft a beautiful ceremony from your love and input that will make your day special.

Our Process
STEP ONE:
Initial Consultation
We will make sure we are a good fit and discuss your vision and details to create a wedding ceremony that you will remember and cherish.
STEP TWO:
Reserve Your Date and Time.
STEP THREE:
I will maintain regular contact via emails, phone calls and/or texts to guarantee a great ceremony.
Rates & Fees
My initial fee is $500 plus travel fees for a complete Custom Ceremony
This package includes an initial consultation, unlimited communication via email or text, composition of the ceremony, any necessary revisions, early arrival at the venue, signing of the license by all parties, performance of the ceremony, and filing of the license with your town hall.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE:
50% of the balance is payable to secure your date.
Balance is paid two weeks prior to your wedding.

Please note that there is an additional fee for wedding rehearsals, which is $150, plus any travel expenses that may apply.
Also, please be aware that a license fee of $50 is usually required and must be paid to your Town Clerk in the city where your wedding will take place. Both parties will need to attend when registering, and photo identification will be required. The license will be valid for 65 days from the date of application.
