About

My name is Michelle Amore Rodriguez. I was born in New Haven, Connecticut, into a loving and proud Italian family. I completed my education and graduated in 1970, later attending the University of New Haven, where I studied Business Management and Accounting. Since 1987, I have been running a successful business with my husband, and in 2010, I founded an event-based company after becoming a Justice of the Peace and an Ordained Minister, focusing on the wedding and events industry.
It is out of my passion for this industry that I created Officiate My Wedding CT. As a Justice of the Peace and Ordained Minister, I specialize in providing couples with personalized wedding ceremonies that truly reflect their identities. Whether you desire a traditional ceremony or something unique and unconventional—such as a single or mixed religious service, a non-religious ceremony, a civil union, vow renewal, or same-sex union—I am here to help. I also enjoy incorporating meaningful rituals like Handfasting, Candle Lighting, and Sand Ceremonies.
I take great pride in crafting a ceremony that caters to your specific needs, drawing inspiration from your love story and personal input to create a beautiful experience that will make your day truly special.
